The
Bexar County Sheriff's Office holds it's members to a high
standard of conduct and discipline in order to preserve an
essential relationship of trust and confidence with the citizens
it serves.
In
order to maintain the community's trust and confidence the
Sheriff's Office instituted a policy of recording and
investigating all complaints of alleged misconduct by it's
employees.
These
investigations are conducted by members of the Professional
Standards and Integrity Division. The goal of this
division is to ensure the integrity of the Sheriff's Office is
maintained. This is accomplished through an investigative
process where objectivity, fairness and justice are assured by
intensive, in depth and impartial investigations of complaints
received.
