QWhen can I appear before the Judge?

APrecinct Two holds Court for TRAFFIC TICKET, NON- TRAFFIC (i.e. disorderly conducts) & Juvenile´s   (does not include Truancy) on WEDNESDAY from 9:00am  -10:30am or 1:00pm-3:30pm. 

Q:  Do I have to see the Judge or can a clerk assist me?

A:  If you do not wish to appear before the Judge, a clerk can assist you Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 

QHow much is my fine?

QDo you accept checks?

A:  Yes, as long as the check is local and not over $150.00.  If you are coming in person, the person who signed the check must appear with a valid ID.

QIf I want to plea NOT GUILTY, what should I do?

A:  Send in a copy of your ticket with a written statement.  The statement needs to  indicate your plea of NOT GUILTY.  You need to let the Court know if you want a TRIAL BY JUDGE or a TRIAL BY JURY.  Please include your mailing address so we may notify you of your correct Court Date.

QWho do I contact to make a complaint against the officer?

A:  In order to make a complaint against an officer, please notify the agency that issued the ticket (i.e. DPS, Bexar County Sherriff´s Office, Constables and so on).

QWhat can I do if I have an ACTIVE WARRANT ?

A:  You may appear any day.  However, the Judge has Misdemeanor Court on Wednesday´s from 9:00am-10:30am and 1:00pm-3:30pm.  You will be taken into custody by the Constable´s Office.  You can request to see the Judge and will allowed to do so, if there is a Judge available.  If no Judge is available at our Court, you will be taken before a Magistrate downtown.   If you wish to pay the outstanding warrant, payment must be in CASH,MONEY ORDER,  CASHIER´S CHECK.

Personal checks will not be accepted. 

Tickets
