Construction Woes 

Due to construction of a new building adjacent to the Justice Center (September 2008 - Summer 2010), please allow ample time to navigate around construction areas.  For a current update on construction, please call 210-335-2667.

Justice Center:

• Access to Justice Center Basement (West Side):
  Beginning Monday, July 14 the sidewalk on the west side of the Justice Center and one of the two north-bound lanes of S. Flores Street immediately adjacent to the Justice Center will be closed to the public.  The northbound VIA bus stop on S. Flores St., at the corner of Dolorosa/Market, will be relocated for the duration of this closure, to Trevino Alley (between the Cathedral and Main Plaza Building), on S. Flores St.
  
  A temporary stairway and wheelchair elevator access to the Central Jury Room may be available on the West side of the building on Flores Street during the construction period (September 2008 - Summer 2010.)
  
• Alternate access to the Justice Center Building (North Side): 
  An alternate entrance is on the north side of the building on Dolorosa Street.  This entrance provides street level access.  Elevators and a stairway provide access to the basement where the Central Jury Room is located. 
  
• Alternate access to the Justice Center from the Courthouse:
  It is possible to reach the Central Jury Room by entering the Bexar County Courthouse and walking through the tunnel that connects the two buildings on the basement level.
